For the most accurate measurements, have someone help you measure. Use a soft measuring tape and keep it snug but not tight against your body.

Neck
Measure around the base of the neck where the collar sits.

Shoulders
Measure across the back from shoulder point to shoulder point.

Bicep
Measure around the fullest part of the upper arm, arm relaxed.

Sleeve Length
From the shoulder seam to the wrist bone along the outside of the arm.

Jacket length
From the base of the neck (front) down to the desired hem.

Chest
Measure around the fullest part of the chest; keep the tape parallel to the floor.

Waist
Measure around the natural waist—the narrowest part of the torso.

Belt
Measure around the abdomen,just above the belt level, without pulling tight.

Hips
Measure around the fullest part of the hips/seat.

Outseam
Take this measurement from the side, from the waist down to the floor, keeping the tape taut.

Crotch
Measure from the front of the waistband to the back, passing through the crotch. Make sure the tape is taut and the trousers aren't worn low-rise.

Thigh
Measure around the fullest part of the upper thigh.

Knee
Measure around the knee at its midpoint.

Wrist
Measure around the wrist bone.
